The strapline of this web site is "all about saving energy" and its main focus reflects my personal mission over many years: to provide practical support to people charged with saving energy at work. But once in a while I get something to vary the diet. In 2010, for instance, Schneider Electric retained me to write a report on the future of energy management over the next 20 years. In my time I have written a number of government guides of a non-technical nature, like the first one ever published on how to choose an energy consultant, and another on how to present the financial case for a carbon-saving project. The prize for the weirdest job, though, goes to my old friend Robert Gevargiz (then at Highbury and Islington Health Authority) who commissioned a series of energy-saving cartoons.
