Once you have achieved savings from an energy-saving campaign, how do you make the results persistent? Reading a book like John P. Kotter's "Leading Change" you would conclude that it is as much about what you do before the campaign as afterwards.

By April this year you could be working on your energy awareness campaign with the confidence of knowing how and why certain approaches are likely to work, and why some seemingly obvious messages may actually be counterproductive. And you will understand how to build persistence in from the outset.

How? By attending my Energising the Workforce round-table workshop in Manchester on 29 March. I approach the subject by reviewing what is known about workplace psychology and persuasion techniques, and although I will propose a particular recipe for a campaign, what I really want to do is give you the insights to make your own plans work better. If you would like the opportunity to spend an interesting day honing your motivation skills with a small group of others in a similar position, please click through to www.vesma.com/training/energising.htm even if you are not convinced, because if you don't find the day useful, your money will be refunded.

Hope to see you soon.
